[NOTSBA Announcements] Jam Schedule Changes

To all NOTSBA Members and Friends
November 16, 2007

 

Due to the upcoming holidays, we are canceling 2 of our scheduled jams:

 

.         The 4th Thursday jam in November (the Performance Group Rehearsal)
scheduled for November 22, falls on Thanksgiving and won't be held 

 

.         The 3rd Thursday in December guided jam at Two Rivers Mansion
falls on December 20. Falling as close as it does to Christmas, it won't be
held either. 

 

The December 6 slow jam will be our last jam at Two Rivers Mansion. The
location of the 1st Thursday slow jam and the 3rd Thursday guided jam will
be moved beginning in January. The Department of Parks has decided to change
direction with the use of Two Rivers Mansion and has, therefore, asked us to
move to another location. They have offered us use of the new Ft. Negley
Visitor Center which is planned to be open by the first of the year. Ft
Negley is located just south of downtown near the juncture of I-65 S. and
I-40. More information on the location and details of those 2 jams will be
sent to you before the end of the year.

 

We hope you received the recent letter from Jim Hornsby that was mailed to
your home address. Our intent was to include a stamped return envelope for
your use. The stamp was accidentally omitted. We hope you'll still return
the survey to us so you'll have a current user ID and password for the web
site, and also give us some of the input we're asking for. If you did not
receive the letter, please let me know at rnwhitlow at comcast.net with your
current address and I'll send one to you right away.
